A video has surfaced showing Guardiola being goaded by a fan, who said: "Just because you lost" after the coach walked past him. Guardiola was walking with his son Marius and another man, and he is seen turning on his heels and attempting to get to the supporter. He is restrained, and eventually walks into his hotel. While the tweet has gone viral, the video was not recorded after Liverpool beat City at the weekend and instead appears to have been taken after Guardiola's team lost to Manchester United in the FA Cup final in May.

City have been in dire form and their victory over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday was their first in seven games in all competitions. Guardiola has talked about the pressures he is facing, and accepts that he could have been sacked, but he has perhaps been saved by the fact he signed a new contract earlier this season.
